Natural Synchronicity

Just Enough.

Land practice with philosophical roots.

A Natural Way

Natural Synchronicity is an exploration of clear perception, fair relation and natural pattern.

It asks what changes when land, water, plants, animals and people are no longer primarily treated as resources.

The project began philosophically through the novel and is now grounded in lived land practice. Its intention is to exist more harmoniously among forests and animals, integrated with community, without abandoning tools, technology, consequence or practical responsibility.

Its guiding measure is Just Enough: naturally meet genuine need, then stop.

Films from Natural Synchronicity

The films bring land, water, weather, animals, work, repair and change into view across time.

The Thinking Behind It

Natural Synchronicity begins from a manifest tension: a world steeped in pattern, proportion, beauty and consequence also carries predation, distortion, confusion and suffering.

The task is not to imitate flora and fauna, nor to romanticise the world or Mother Nature.

People are shaped by habit, culture, appetite, fear, memory and inherited assumptions. Honest perception begins by acknowledging that.

Yet clearer recognition remains possible. We can distinguish honest speech from manipulation, sincere care from performance, proportionate work from domination, and land being listened to from land being used and abused.

Natural Synchronicity does not ask for purity. Machinery, fences, compromise, burden, repair and unfinished work remain part of ordinary life.

The aim is clearer perception, fairer relation and less contradiction.

Ethiculture

The land-based expression of Natural Synchronicity, guided by the principle of Just Enough and influenced by permaculture and natural farming.

The Novel

A contemplative philosophical novel following Iona and Koan beyond a fractured culture toward a more integrated sense of natural pattern.

The novel is the poetic and metaphysical root of the wider project. It contains Iona’s Notes on Balance, the holistic source meditation from which Just Enough emerged.
